A jewelry appraisal is a professional written assessment of a piece's value, typically used for insurance coverage, estate settlement, divorce proceedings, or resale. Without a current appraisal, your insurance provider may not be able to fully reimburse you if a piece is lost, stolen, or damaged. Most insurers recommend updating appraisals every two to three years as metal and gemstone markets fluctuate.

A Graduate Gemologist credential from the Gemological Institute of America represents the highest level of gemological education available, meaning Irene evaluates color, clarity, cut, and carat weight with the same rigorous standards used by the industry's most respected laboratories. Our appraisals are thorough, documented, and accepted by major insurance providers.
